March 12th a possible leak of Vilniaus kolegija (Vilnius College) student data was observed in the public space. The incident is being investigated by the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC).
LITNET CERT registered a cyber incident on 20-03-03 at 16:56. After the University’s cyber security specialists reviewed the network traffic records and examined the systematic log records, we hurry to inform you that the data of KTU students is secure. No breaches have been identified in the information systems managed by the University, which was confirmed by the University’s cyber security specialists, who are conducting an internal investigation.
