Every spring, the Technorama technology exhibition-competition, held at the KTU Santaka Valley, brings together technology developers, startups and innovation enthusiasts from across Lithuania and abroad. On May 27 2026, young talents will compete for a prize fund of €12,000, and the most confident participants will present their ideas on the “Pitch Battle powered by Nordclinic” stage.
The KTU Startup Space team, which organises the Technorama exhibition, says the event often serves as a starting point for further development of an idea.
According to Justina Kateivaitė, another representative of the KTU Startup Space, teams that want to continue developing their solutions after the event and receive mentorship are invited to join the KTU startup incubator, which focuses on early-stage products and ambitious teams.
Innovation – the Technorama’s Main Partner’s Daily Practice
This year, the main partner of Technorama is the surgical clinic Nordclinic. The clinic works closely with advanced medical technologies, and its active involvement in strengthening the innovation ecosystem shows that joining one of Lithuania’s longest-running events promoting young creators was a natural step.
The idea presentation stage, named after the main partner “Pitch Battle powered by Nordclinic,” will traditionally bring together the bravest participants willing to present their ideas publicly. In just a few minutes, innovators will have to convince the evaluation committee that their solution has the greatest potential and deserves the main prize.
The Technorama 2026 will also pay special attention to one of today’s most relevant topics – artificial intelligence (AI). “Rapidly evolving AI technologies are changing not only business but also our everyday decisions; therefore, the event will introduce solutions revealing the potential of this field across different sectors,” say the organisers.
It sytematically brings together AI knowledge and competencies from four strong Lithuanian universities, in cooperation with advanced partners from Germany and Finland.
A Strong Network of Partners Ensures Technorama’s Success
One of the highlights of this year’s Technorama is a large group of partners contributing to the event’s implementation and success through expert support and financial sponsorship. Their contributions have brought the prize fund to €12,000.
Partners are also actively involved in the evaluation process and decide for themselves which projects will receive their established awards. Each partner follows different priorities: some prioritise technological innovation, others look for solutions that create social value, while others value creativity or the growth potential of an idea.
This year, valuable prizes are also provided by software development company Aardvark, the largest pet food manufacturer in the Baltics and Scandinavia, Mars Lietuva, defence technology company Unmanned Defence Systems and global automation technology leader Festo Lietuva.
Cash prizes are funded by the ESA BIC Lithuania (European Space Agency Business Incubation Centre), the KTU Alumni Association and the Artificial Intelligence Competence Centre SustAInLivWork.
