KTU students can expand their academic experience by enrolling in elective modules offered by other universities in Kaunas. The registration for the next academic year is open from May 25 to June 5, 2026.
Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Vytautas Magnus University (VDU), the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU), and the Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) have been cooperating for four years and continue to offer students the opportunity to take inter-university study modules at partner institutions free of charge during the 2026–2027 academic year.
These modules allow you to broaden your studies with new experiences, take a subject beyond your main study programme, and learn alongside students from other universities. The knowledge gained will help you expand your personal and professional competencies and enhance your career prospects.
You will take the elective as a visiting (unclassified) student and may apply for recognition of the learning outcomes in accordance with your university’s internal procedures. Both the visiting student agreement and the completion of the study module are free of charge.
Registration form. The registration deadline is 5 June 2026. Please use your university email address to register. The number of places in each module is limited.
List of subjects. Before selecting a subject, please review its description and note the semester in which it is offered (autumn or spring). You may choose one subject that corresponds to your study cycle and is offered at a partner university.
