On Monday March 30 the classes resumed: studies moved online

Important | 2020-04-02

From Monday, March 30, the study process at Kaunas University of Technology started again after a short break. The University teachers and administration have accomplished great work by preparing to move the study process online.

Online learning tools have been integrated into Moodle, the University’s virtual learning environment, which will allow the teachers to communicate with the students both synchronically and asynchronically. Although for the time being, KTU will not be able to open the library and to offer its study spaces or to allow to use classrooms and laboratories, the University is trying to compensate for these losses and to ensure to deliver the best possible study quality.

Teachers are ready to answer any questions related to their study module, the head of the study programme or a Faculty Study Centre representative can consult about any study-programme specific issues. Any questions of a generic nature should be addressed to Student Information and Service Centre via e-mail: klausk@ktu.lt.

More detailed information about the study process organisation can always be found on the student intranet Office 365.

Just a quick reminder: Lithuanian Government extended the quarantine in Lithuania until June 1, 24:00. Based on this decision, the working remotely at KTU will be extended until June 1.

During the quarantine, the residents are encouraged to follow the recommendations of the Lithuanian Ministry of Health.

Please keep in mind that all the up-to-date information related to the work organising during quarantine is accessible on the COVID-19 section on KTU website.
