The best choice for those willing to study Informatics Engineering is Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) the magazine Reitingai (Rankings) announced this week. According to the organisers of the Reitingai rankings, which are being organised every year, KTU master and bachelor studies are among the best in Lithuania.
KTU was ranked as the best university in five undergraduate study fields, and in seven masters study fields. Also, it has gained recognition for three undergraduate and five masters study fields as the only university conducting them.
Kaunas University of Technology Gymnasium (KTUG) was also ranked very highly among Lithuanian high schools. KTUG is among the top three Lithuanian gymnasiums in mathematics, Lithuanian and English.
Reitingai has ranked Lithuanian universities, colleges and gymnasiums, and more than 70 study fields. In this way the organisers attempted to determine which Lithuanian institution is the best in providing professionals of certain study fields, and to create a tool, which the prospective students can use when choosing their studies.
The Reitingai rankings were based on the entrance score of the first-year students, on the salary of the alumni and employment perspectives. They have also interviewed various companies about the freshly employed graduates, and analysed other data.
