In early October 2015, the General Assembly of CESAER (Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research) elected new Board of Directors for 4 years period, and Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) became part of the main administration body of the association. The decision of CESAER members was based on KTU’s active membership and advanced achievements in advanced engineering education and research.
KTU has been an active member of CESAER for ten years. Association, which unites leading European technical universities, promotes innovation through close cooperation with industry and adopts policy positions on the major developments in European higher education, research and innovation.
CESAER plays significant role to represent the interests of its members to European Union institutions. KTU is the only Lithuanian university in the Association working together with globally acclaimed universities, among which are Aalto University, Technical University of Denmark, Delft university of Technology.
