KTU Researchers Received Lithuanian Science Prize

Researchers of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Professor Rymantas Jonas Kažys and Professor Liudas Mažeika have been awarded the Lithuanian Science Prize. The Prize is being awarded every year by the Research Council of Lithuania for research and development projects of national importance.

The KTU researchers received The Lithuanian Science Prize in the field of technology science for the cycle of projects on ultrasonic measuring, monitoring and diagnostic technologies under extreme conditions in years 2001–2015.

Every year the Research Council of Lithuania awards no more than 7 prizes in humanities, social, physical, biomedical, agricultural and technology sciences. The projects of the recent 15 years, which made a substantial contribution to science are eligible for the Prize.
