Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is taking part in an international initiative European Cycling Challenge 2015. In May all European cities are taking a challenge to cycle as many kilometres as they can using the most eco-friendly means of transportation: a bicycle.
Kaunas is participating in the Challenge for the third time. In 2014 with more than 53 thousand kilometres Kaunas took 10th place among 32 European cities.
All the University community – staff and students – are invited to join KTU team and cycle for Kaunas. Everyone can take part in the challenge, all you need to do is to cycle and to have a smart phone.

Upon registration, please choose Kaunas team, and under “subteam”/”Scools” choose KTU – žaliasis universitetas
The signed participants can acquire Kaunas Team registration plates for their bicycle.

Every University building has bicycle stands, so there is always place for you to park.
