Many civil protection buildings are located across the University campus. Civil protection structures are pre-selected and specially marked buildings that can be quickly adapted to provide temporary shelter for the population against the harmful effects of the environment and to protect the evacuated population during emergencies or war. Civil protection shelters will house evacuees or evacuated residents; the vital services in an organised manner will be provided: food, drinking water, medicines, hygiene items, and clean clothes. These buildings are marked with a blue triangle on an orange background. The list of KTU buildings that would be used as civil protection shelters if necessary:
