“My options were limited because I didn’t have the means to afford tuition fees to study abroad. On the KTU application page, it was mentioned that state-funded places are available for EU citizens, and after contacting the University’s International Office I was reassured that I was qualified to apply, and can compete for state funding,” says Nóra Emilia Nagybákay from Hungary who, after graduating from MSc Food Science and Safety stayed at KTU for her PhD.

At KTU, Nóra found not only a supportive environment, an active and enthusiastic scientific community, which is always ready to help but also an active cultural and social university life.

This year’s KTU admissions campaign invites prospective students to aim for personal development and to acknowledge their hobbies, abilities and areas of interest when choosing a study programme. With the slogan “Studies that shape you”, the University reminds us that the most important thing is discovering your path, which can be aided by purposefully chosen studies.

In English, KTU offers 22 bachelor’s, 28 master’s study programmes, and PhD studies in 20 study fields. To empower yourself with skills and talents, besides studies, the University offers self-development programmes, such as GIFTed Talent Academy, INSPIRed student societies, WANTed career coaching and others.

Students from the EU/EEA, Lithuanian nationals residing abroad and people with Lithuanian origins can apply for a state-funded study place.
