Today, October 15, Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) opens admissions for international students. More than 50 English-taught bachelor’s and master’s programmes are available. Apply by June 1, 2026, and start your studies in September next year.
“The university caught my eye because it has strong international connections through the Erasmus programme and partnerships with well-known institutions such as CERN,” says Illia Filipas, a Materials Physics and Nanotechnologies student at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU).
He was drawn to nanotechnology because of its potential: “I wanted to be part of something exciting – creating inventions and making an impact”.
Illia is really pleased with his choice. At KTU, he joined the SKILLed AI Talent Academy, which not only strengthened his AI skills but also enabled him to do an internship at Centric IT Solutions, an international company based in Kaunas.
According to the newest Times Higher Education World University Ranking, KTU is the strongest technical university in Lithuania. In recent years, it has continued to grow its diverse international community. Today, students from more than 70 countries are studying at KTU – from India, Morocco, and Turkey to Greece, Spain, and the United States.
