GO Abroad Fair have happened for the eighth year, however it was the first time that it was organized fully virtually. Partners from 41 universities located in 22 countries have visited the fair and shared exchange opportunities with KTU students. Guests from Europe, Georgia, Armenia, USA, Mexico, Republic of South Africa, India, China, Taiwan and South Korea. In addition to partner universities, participants of the fair had a chance to meet with the representatives of companies and enterprises to get familiar with traineeship opportunities. To cap it all of, there were KTU students themselves sharing their experience abroad to encourage others to take the step towards this adventure

Description: 4 webinars on diffeent aspects of traineeships abroad were delivered to help students to organize their preparation process from a good CV and LinkedIn application through decission which traineeship type to choose to preparation and successful engagement in the multicultural environment in the traineeship organisation abroad.
All webinars were supported with the present or past trainees experience and recommendations.

If you are a former KTU exchange student, we invite you to attend GO Abroad Fair 2020 to represent your host university.
Who is better to promote foreign universities and give our prospective exchange students important advice than you?
At the fair, Each University will be organized by country, and each country will have a group of stands and tables. As a participant, you are welcome to take promotional material, photos, etc. You can take a friend or two who went on exchange with you and you can represent your university together.
PARTICIPANTS WILL BE AWARDED DIGITAL BADGES FOR VOLUNTEERING! More information on digital badges: https://students.ktu.edu/digital-badges/
The deadline for registration is 6th February.

REGULATIONS
WINNER Selection:
On the 7 February 2020, 3 students will be nominated to become the Exchange ambassadors.
Only participants, selected to become Exchange Ambassadors will be notified. The information will be sent by an email. If an Exchange Ambassador cannot be contacted, an alternate student will be nominated.
An Exchange Ambassador agrees at least twice a month to send a good quality and unique photo together with a short blog story on the given topic (up to 150 words):
Use #DISCOVERedErasmus2020 for @ktustudentlife and @ktuspace (for Instagram posts and stories) as well as for @ktustudentams (for Facebook posts).
An ambassador agrees to share personal data (name and surname; faculty, exchange location and a personal content (stories and photos)) according to the rules of this contest.
The PRIZE:
An eBOOK READER will be given away as a reward at the end of Exchange Ambassador’s mobility period by KTU International Relations Department.
The publishing cost of a PREMIUM quality personalized PHOTO BOOK created only with Polarsteps App (www.polarsteps.com) will be covered at the end of every ambassador’s mobility period upon individual request but no later than 20th December 2020 (you need to use Polarsteps App during your exchange to create the PHOTO BOOK).
