Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) dormitories are launching an annual initiative – dormitory decoration contest. All the residents are being invited to take part in the action and to compete for the name of the most Christmassy dormitory, and the valuable prize.
Dormitories should be decorated by 15 of December. The voting will take place 15–22 December, and the results will be announced on 23 December at KTU Dormitories community Facebook account.
Join in and make the legend that Kaunas is a true Christmas capital of Lithuania come true.
The decorated dormitories will participate in the contest for the awards for the most beautiful and the most originally decorated dormitory. Let’s spread Christmas joy and have some fun decorating your dormitory together with your neighbours!
VOTING
• Stage I – administrative staff of KTU vote for their favourite. These votes make up 50 % of the final score.
• Stage II – voting on KTU Dormitory community Facebook page. These votes make up the rest 50 % of the final score.
All the votes received on Facebook will be converted in proportion to the number of residents in a dormitory.
PRIZES
1st place winners will receive 1000 EUR
2nd place winners will receive 850 EUR
3rd place winners will receive 700 EUR
The residents of the winning dormitory will be able to acquire the desired inventory (sports inventory, board games, etc.) or repair / install leisure, learning or recreational premises in their dormitory by arrangement with Dormitory Group Administration.
