2–4 March 2015 the fourth part of intensive Nuclear Engineering Course will take place at KTU Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The course will focus nuclear synthesis, radiation impact on structural materials, nuclear cycle chemistry, thermal hydraulics, nuclear and radiation safety and other subjects.
Continuous accumulation and renewal of knowledge is an important factor for planning to build Baltic regional nuclear plant in Visaginas. The course organised by Tokyo Technology Institute (TTI) and Hitachi with Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) contributes significantly in expanding and updating much needed skills and knowledge.
The students and teachers of all faculties are invited to take part in the course. Successful participants of the course will be awarded with certificates.
For KTU students the course will count as a 2 credit module, however after the course the students will be asked to contribute with an individual work which meets legal studies requirements.
