On April 18–30 Kaunas will become the jazz capital of Lithuania. More than 20 free concerts in new and traditional spaces are only a small part of the programme, which features such internationally acclaimed artists as Laura Mvula and Gregory Porter.

However, we would like to urge you not to miss the Festival’s Opening, which will take place in the new hip place – the renovated Kaunas Bus Station this Thursday, 19 April at 7pm. During the concert, a young artist Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė, together with group will introduce the innovative concert repertoire, fully matching the jazzy mood and unconventional location.
On Saturday, 21 April the organisers of Kaunas Jazz are inviting Kaunas residents and city guests to the craft brewery Volfas Engelman Studija, which will provide scene to the introduction of gourmet beverage made specially for Kaunas Jazz. The event will feature concert by National Award winner saxophonist Petras Vyšniauskas and blues guitar player Vladimir Kaplan.
More Kaunas Jazz 2018 events, including street concerts, fashion shows and fireworks will take place next weekend, April 27–29.
