This year’s KTU graduates, their relatives and members of the academic community are kindly invited to participate in the Graduation Ceremony for the graduates of the year 2018. The graduation ceremony will take place in Kaunas Žalgiris Arena on Tuesday, 22 June at 12pm.
In the end of June Kaunas job market will receive a new batch of talent – highly qualified engineers, technologists, IT specialists, sociologists, economists, financial specialists, linguists and the specialists of other fields are getting ready to jump-start their career.
As the recent surge of investment into Kaunas region shows, Lithuania is becoming more and more popular location among global companies. Kaunas talent pool and business-friendly educational institutions are among the main aspects why investors choose this region.
“Research reveals that people, who are interested in more than one field and are having skills and knowledge of several areas, are more creative and innovative. That’s why at KTU we are encouraging interdisciplinarity – all our students acquire not only specific skills of their field, but also have knowledge of philosophy, economy, sustainable development, that is, they are aware of the current context in which science and technology innovations are taking place”, says KTU Rector ad interim Jurgita Šiugždinienė.
Kaunas University of Technology graduates are among the most sought-after in the job market. According to the national rankings of 2018 announced by the magazine “Reitingai”, KTU is No.1 in the employers’ reputation category, which summarizes their opinion on KTU graduates and their employability.
