Research and specialists agree: if you are physically active, you will achieve more in your studies. Sports activities lower the concentration of stress hormones in your blood, boost your confidence, strengthen your will, and teach discipline. Also, sports improve your intellectual abilities.
“Sports improve not only your physical form, but also helps to keep your inner world in order. Going to gym can definitely be called a certain kind of therapy”, says Loreta Šapokienė, coach and gym assistant at KTU Sports Centre. According to her, people are starting to understand the crucial importance of physical activities and sport.
“All you need is to devote 30-40 minutes to your favourite physical activity 3-4 times a week”, Mrs Šapokienė is convinced.
