Synthesis and hydration of sulfoaluminate-belite cement

Project no.: 09.3.3-LMT-K-712-10-0265

Project description:

The chemical and mineral composition of natural raw materials and technogenic wastes (silica-gel and granite powder) will be determined. During the project, the methodology for calculating the initial mixtures composition will be developed.
In addition, the influence of calcination temperature on sulfoaluminate-belite cement formation and hydration will be examined.

Project funding:

Project is funded by EU Structural Funds according to the 2014–2020 Operational Programme for the European Union Funds’ Investments priority “Development of scientific competence of researchers, other researchers, students through practical scientific activities” under Measure No. 09.3.3-LMT-K-712.

Project results:

To create sulfoaluminate-belite cement by using Lithuanian technogenic wastes – silica-gel and granite powder.
