Project description:

The aim of this project is to offer sustainable technical solutions for plastic waste management and plastic pollution reduction in the municipalities of the big cities of the Baltic States. This can be achieved by:
– performing a quantitative and qualitative analysis of plastic flow (including microplastics) in the municipal waste management systems of Kaunas, Tallinn and Daugavpils municipalities;
– creating and evaluating available technological concepts based on above mentioned analysis and previou researches.
