Meeting With Business Representatives

Swedish Embassy has been collaborating with Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) for several years, as KTU students can learn Swedish language, choosing it as an additional module to their curriculum. Although many companies face the problem of lack of employees who speak Swedish, the students are not motivated enough to learn this language.

The first meeting between students and enterprises will give the opportunity to students to find out why it is important to learn Swedish. The representatives of the company will talk about their business, about Swedish business culture and ethics. Students already studying Swedish and those interested in it are invited.

The workshop of companies and students and the opening of the exhibition will take place 9 December in room 202 at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts (A. Mickevičiaus str. 37):

Workshop: 2 pm

Opening of the exhibition: 3 pm

The exhibition space will take place in the corridors of the ground floor and the first floor of the building. After the opening everyone will be invited to taste traditional Swedish ginger cookies and to informal get together.
