Kaunas University of Technology Vice-Rector for International Relations and Development prof. Sigitas Stanys took part in the conference of the Asia Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) earlier this week. Apart from up-to-date seminars on ongoing and future education strategies in the Asian and Pacific region, the conference served as a platform to meet KTU’s current and future partners: Sichuan, Hong Kong City and other universities. Vice-Rector Sigitas Stanys visited Beijing Institute of Technology where cooperation possibilities were discussed. Academic mobility is to start from the academic year 2015–2016 between the universities.

Kaunas University of Technology starts new activity this year in the framework of Erasmus+ programme and expands academic mobility options beyond the European Union borders. In March 2015 new Erasmus+ application for students and staff mobility between KTU and universities from the Balkan, Eastern European, Asian and other countries was submitted.
