Indian Ambassador for Poland and Lithuania Ajay Bisaria visited Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) last week. While discussing the issues important for Indian students, the Ambassador praised the University for its atmosphere and study quality.

During the visit Mr Bisaria was accompanied by Honorary Consul of India to Lithuania Mr Rajinder Kumar Chaudhary. The Indian state officers met with Indian students, studying at KTU and answered their questions regarding documentation procedures such as Visa extension, Police Clearance Certificate notification and cultural integration.

The Ambassador was excited to hear that students are happy studying in Kaunas: “Students do not have to search for education somewhere else, at KTU they can find everything they need: not only interesting studies but also friendly environment.”

Mr Bisaria encouraged the students to be pro-active and to plan in advance, in order to avoid misunderstandings.

“We want students from India to feel at home in Kaunas. It is so interesting to hear about the main problems directly from students themselves. In this case, we are able to get realistic feeling what students are experiencing every day”, said the Ambassador.
