Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
One of the goals of KTU, as the school of higher education – to ensure high quality education and development of the specialists and responsible future leaders, who can understand the global challenges, the importance, instruments and methods of sustainable development, how to solve the arising problems using critical thinking and latest technologies and knowledge.
4.3. Equal opportunities to study for men and women.
4.4. To integrate the competences of entrepreneurship to students aiming for increased employment of graduates and contribution to the growth of the society’s well-being.
4.5. To provide the disabled people with a possibility of equivalent studies and work at KTU.
4.7. To ensure for ALL studying persons to acquire knowledge and skills required for promotion of sustainable development, including, amongst other things, education on the issues of sustainable development and sustainable living, human rights, gender equality, peace and promotion of non-violent culture, diversity of global citizenship and cultures, and cultural impact on sustainable development, till 2030.
4.a. To ensure a safe, non-violent, involving and effective learning environment at KTU.
4.b. To integrate (award scholarships, invite to study) the students of developing countries in the study and research programmes that are globally important and relevant.
