

Goal 2.
End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
Good nutrition has a direct influence on health, economy, gender equality and social development. It is one of the basic needs of humanity. KTU community can contribute to achievement of this goal by development of new technologies and research of food systems that contributes to the resource management and distribution.
Students are encouraged to take initiative that would directly contribute to the healthy lifestyle and improvement of the food supply at KTU catering facilities.
Implementation of this goal is relevant to the achievement of other goals: 3SDG: Health; 4SDG: Quality education; 5SDG: Gender equality; 12SDG: Sustainable consumption and production.
2.2. Development and promotion of healthy nutrition habits and skills at KTU.
