Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
Water supply and treatment technologies, effective use of water and management of water, as one of the main resources – in studies, research and KTU Campus.
6.3. Improvement of the quality of water: a) waste water treatment technologies and systems; b) responsible waste management (increasing recycling and safe re-use, zero landfilling); c) reducing the possibilities of occurrence of other types of pollution in the bodies of water.
6.3. Promotion of responsible use of inland water (sustainable tourism, responsible behaviour).
6.4. Increasing the effectiveness of the use of water: a) equipment and technologies; b) information; c) awareness; d )innovations.
6.a. International and sectoral cooperation and research on the issues of the quality and effective use of water.
6.b. Promotion of the initiatives of the local communities, development of skills and involvement in the management of the quality and resources or water.
