Activities of the group:
1) research and development of new fibrous materials based on high technologies in the national and international context;
2) preservation of national identity through textile structures, national ornamentation of wood and other products.
In the field of functional textiles, the FP7 project 2BFUNTEX was implemented together with the University of Ghent, Belgium, as well as in collaboration with the Swiss research institute Empa, the University of Valencia, the Kiev University of Technologies and Design and others. Bilateral cooperation projects with Swiss, Ukrainian and Belarusian research institutions have been implemented.
