The vision of the group – the research group “Building Materials, Structures and Technologies” activities are related to new production processes, innovative building materials, constructions, and sustainable development of construction technologies, in order to achieve sustainable growth of the built environment.

The main research areas of the group: Innovative building materials. Research of concrete technological as well as physicomechanical properties and durability, by evaluating the influence of environment, the use of secondary raw materials, dispersed fibers, concrete admixtures, and additives. Statics and dynamics of engineering structures. Investigation of reinforced concrete and composite structures, investigation of modified soils.Research of construction technological, organizational, and economic processes. Parametric information modeling of the building and its lifecycle.
