VALORWIDE – “Widening Knowledge Valorisation in University Alliances for Stronger 5.0 Industrial Ecosystems” is a European project aimed at strengthening universities’ capacity to turn research knowledge, technologies and intellectual property into tangible value for industry and society. The project brings together European universities, innovation agencies and intermediaries to develop and test advanced knowledge valorisation approaches, including professional upskilling, open innovation and co-creation programmes, market-driven IP commercialisation and research venture building. Particular attention is given to Industry 5.0, artificial intelligence and digital tools supporting knowledge valorisation. Within VALORWIDE, Kaunas University of Technology leads the activities on open innovation, industrial problem-solving and co-creation, strengthening long-term university–industry collaboration.
