The concept of the project is to obtain various bipyrazole systems and study their properties by applying knowledge of organic chemistry and modern synthesis methods. Pyrazole derivatives are attractive research subjects and are the building blocks of many well-known drugs on the market. Meanwhile, the functionalized bipyrazole systems also have wide applications because they exhibit various biological activities such as antibacterial, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimalarial, etc. The research area of bipyrazoles is not widely studied and is still relevant. The new bipyrazole systems obtained through simple, reliable and atom-economical synthesis and functionalization methodologies could find practical applications in various fields of chemistry.
Project results:
During the project, the structures of the synthesized bipyrazole systems will be analyzed in detail based on the data from NMR, IR spectroscopies and MS spectrometry studies. After the evaluation of the biological properties, the obtained project results will significantly contribute to the accumulation of information about the dependence of the biological activity of the compounds on the chemical structure.
Period of project implementation: 2023-10-04 - 2024-04-30
