Dearivatives of phenanthroimidazole containing different substituents are synthesized. The structures of the compounds and their photophysical properties are estimated by the tools of computer chemistry. Photophysical, thermal, charge-transporting properties of the newly synthesizewd compounds will be studied. Electrochemical stability of the compounds and morphological stability of their glasses will be estimated
