Synthesis and studies of cyclic derivatives of phenylpyrazole

Project description:

The aim of the project is to obtain new cyclic derivatives containing the 1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole fragment by applying knowledge of organic chemistry and modern synthesis methodologies. Pyrazole is a structural element of many well-known drugs. Functionalized pyrazole derivatives show various biological activities: antibacterial, anticancer, antidiabetic, antioxidant, antifungal, etc. Although much attention has been paid to the synthesis and investigation of pyrazole derivatives in the last decade, simple and reliable methods for the synthesis of cyclic pyrazole systems are still being sought.


Project results:

After optimizing the reaction conditions, new cyclic derivatives of pyrazole will be synthesized during the project, and the structures of the obtained compounds will be determined and characterized by spectral analysis methods.
