Synthesis and properties investigation of cyclic systems containing a pyrazole fragment

Project no.: S-ST-22-21

Project description:

Concept of the project: preparation of cyclic pyrazole systems using classical and modern methods of organic synthesis. Various pyrazole derivatives are attractive research subjects because of their wide variety of biological properties and wide range of applications. Studies have shown that such compounds can exhibit various biological activities, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, antifungal, etc. effects. Compounds with several different structural scaffolds in their structure can have a wider spectrum of biological properties, have a greater effect on the target, and could discover other application possibilities.

Project results:

Based on the acquired knowledge, it was decided to synthesize new cyclic compounds containing a pyrazole fragment by performing various cyclization reactions with functionalized pyrazoles and analyzing their structures and properties. The research area of polycyclic pyrazoles is not widely explored and relevant, and the new compounds synthesized could find practical applications in various fields of chemistry.
