Solutions to reduce aggressive ions SO42- and Cl- during transport in Portland cement concrete with steel reinforcement in hydraulic structures (MARCOCN)

Project no.: S-LU-22-7

Project description:

The project is aimed at the scientific, socio-economic and environmental applied problem of world level on the effective means to prevent corrosion of steel reinforcement in ordinary portland cement concrete (hereinafter OPC concrete) for marine structures. The essence of the project is to ensure the chemical binding of these aggressive anions by hydrated products of modified portland cement, as a base of concrete, and by alkaline aluminosilicate coatings.
