Project description:

The bilateral Lithuania-Japan project “Plasmonic properties of silver nanoparticles and self?assembled clusters (PLAS)“ aims at the detailed analysis of ultrafast relaxation phenomena in plasmonic silver nanostructures, demonstrating photo-catalytic activity.

During the reference period the planned objectives were achieved, i.e.: I) synthesis of different configuration polyhedral silver nanoparticles as well as Ag@TiO2 nanostructures was performed; characterization of nanoparticles including morphology, shape, chemical composition and particle size distribution function was accomplished; production of regular two dimensional nanostructures employing capillary assisted deposition and lithographically nanostructured templates was done; studies of energy
