New organic dyes and hole transporting materials as suitable couple for efficient dye-sensitized solar cells

Project no.: P-LZ-19-6

Project description:

The aim of this project is to design, synthesize and characterize new metal-free donor-acceptor organic dyes and organic hole transporting materials which would enable to improve dye-sensitized solar cells. A detailed investigation of the effect of interface and charge transfer mechanism will be investigated. Finally, dye-sensitized solar devices will be fabricate in order to conclude on the benefit of such couples (dye-hoel transporting materials).

Project funding:

Interngovernmental programme administrated by Research Council of Lithuania: Lithuania–France (“GILIBERT”)
