The goal of this project is to conduct comparative research on behavioural patterns and public attitudes towards social networks, religious practices and perception of social welfare and to continue the implementation of the International Social Survey Programme (ISSP) in Lithuania. The project will analyse the attitudes and experiences of Lithuanian population in the thematic areas such as social welfare, social networks and religious practices. Secondary analysis of empirical data will allow to compare a case of Lithuania with other European and non?European countries (ISSP is being implemented in more than 50 countries). This project is important not only on national but also on international level: participation in the ISSP will guarantee the inclusion of Lithuanias case into the global research agenda, foster the implementation of high quality methodological standards in research, and promote comparative cross?national quantitative research.
