iLock Prototype Demonstration and Trial Set Manufacturing (iLockTrial)

Project no.: 31V-92; 31V-13

Project description:

Companies MB Inotech and UAB Simbiotekha have developed a smart paddle lock iLock. This device monitors the position of the lock with the help of the GNSS, monitors the status of the device, and transmits information to the users servers via the GSM network. Status reports are available 24 hours a day, thanks to the IoT functionality. Device has wireless charging, is ingress protected. Project is aiming to solve final commercialization stages: electromagnetic compatibility studies are required to successfully validate the product and optimization of energy consumption.

Project funding:

Projects funded by the Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology

Project results:

Longer operation time (from 4days to 30 days); EMC precompliance tests passed after EMI reduction, design optimization. Trial set manufacturing documentation. 100 pcs of trial set prototypes. Demonstration in real environment. I.e. starting from TRL 6, product is transfered to TRL 8.
