The project establishes Excellence Centre of the Technology and Physical Sciences (TiFEC) at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), which will carry out research and experimental development of the highest international standard in the fields of electrical and electronic engineering (T 001), energy and thermal engineering (T 006), and chemistry (N 003). TiFEC activities will contribute to the sustainable development of the country’s economy and international competitiveness.
Project funding:
The project is funded by the Lithuanian Science Council and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania through the state budget under the programme “University Excellence Initiative”.
Project results:
The project will develop new multifunctional hybrid chips for signal acquisition, processing and efficient energy management, creating new efficient smart and functional materials, promising derivatives and prototype manufacturing technologies. The results are planned to be patented through patent applications.
