Development of social entrepreneurship and creativity of students of Lithuanian higher education institutions by improving their correspondence to the needs of the labor market and society

Project description:

The Lithuanian engineering industry association LINPRA, representing the major manufacturing industry sectors (mechanics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, electronics, materials processing, etc.), seeks to strengthen the entrepreneurship and creativity of high school students and graduates and their competences acquired through learning to meet the needs of the labor market and society’s needs. This project will strengthen the interest of students and their teachers in social problems in the country and increase motivation and skills in applying knowledge, practical skills, creativity, etc. resources available to solve these problems on their own.


Project results:

Entrepreneurship education for students from biomedical, physical, social and technological sciences can have a direct impact on the creation of innovative enterprises, the commercialization of knowledge and technology, and the development of innovations. Therefore, in order to promote an innovative and socially oriented business, measures will be implemented in the framework of this project for a comprehensive entrepreneurship education, strengthening business and science cooperation and creating new initiatives.
