The project coordinator UAB “Eltesta” in cooperation with its partner Kaunas University of Technology aims to create an optical and electric miniature computer oscilloscope for measuring and analyzing impulse and communication signals in bandwidth 30 GHz, in the context of scientific research and experimental development activities. One, two or four channel oscilloscopes (optical, electrical or combined optical/electrical modes) are planned. The devices in development will provide the ability to acquire, measure and analyze complex signal forms within the range of picoseconds to hundreds of milliseconds. They are intended for research and manufacturing users with relevant characteristics for flexible broadband signal measurement, including standard pulses, pulses and sine signals, as well as several types of complex signals, gigabit signals. The device in development is a portable mini compared to an alternative traditional desktop oscilloscope.
Project funding:
This research project is funded by the European Union Funds for the period 2021-2027 under the Measure No. 05-001-01-05-07 “Establishing a coherent system for the promotion of innovative activities” under the activity “Stimulating the supply of innovations” under the action “Investing in activities for the development of new high value added products and enabling researchers to participate in R&D activities of enterprises, promotion of intellectual property, early pilot production of new products being developed and preparation for the market” (region of Central and Western Lithuania)”
Project results:
An oscilloscope prototype will be created and a description of the results of the tests and evaluations will be provided at the end of the project. A series of test oscilloscopes will be manufactured and tested.
