The main objective of the joint research project is the development of comprehensive system of functional-oriented planning of machining difficult-to-cut materials for the military-industrial complex.
The project aims to develop the automated system of planning technologies of mechanical machining of weapons and military equipment, which are manufactured from hard-working materials, will be realised.
The system will be focused on the full consideration of the conditions of functioning and operation of military-technical products and weapons and will let to achieve their maximum durability and operational reliability.
Project funding:
Intergovernmental programme administrated by Research Council of Lithuania: Lithuania–Ukraine
Project results:
– Investigations of the microgeometry parameters and surface quality of parts made from difficult-to-cut materials.
– Theoretical and experimental studies of mechanical parameters of materials for parts of military equipment and weapons products.
– Non-destructive testing of speciments made from difficult-to-cut materials.
