Bipolar Semiconductors Exhibitting Aggregation-Induced Emission Enhancement for Multi-Colored Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence OLEDs (BLIX4LED)

Project no.: PP59/2004

Project description:

The recent discovery of effective organic light emitting diodes based on the phenomenon of thermally activated delayed fluorescence discovered by scientist C. Adachi enhances efforts to design and synthesize organic derivatives combining abilities of thermally activated delayed fluorescence and enhanced emission aggregation. During the project we will design and synthesize donor-acceptor organic compounds which will exhibit both thermally activated delayed fluorescence and aggregation-induced emission enhancement phenomena. Efficient organic light-emitting diode materials and high efficiency organic light-emitting diodes will be developed in the frame of this project .
