Analysis of Factors Influencing the Implementation of Regenerative Practices and Strategies

Project no.: P-SV4-26-431

Project description:

The research focuses on the analysis of regenerative practices and strategies in the context of the European Union (EU), addressing the accelerating challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and the destabilization of socio-ecological systems, which can no longer be adequately addressed by traditional sustainability models oriented solely toward reducing negative impacts. The research aims to examine the diversity of regenerative practices, identify those that dominate in different EU contexts, and reveal the political, economic, environmental, and institutional factors shaping their selection and diffusion. By applying mixed research methods (including systematic analysis of scientific literature and EU strategic documents, comparative analysis, and secondary data analysis) the study seeks to develop a structured typology of regenerative practices and to provide scientifically grounded recommendations that contribute to a more coherent and effective implementation of EU green transformation policies.
