Care@Home aims to develop a cutting-edge AI-based, contactless monitoring ecosystem that enables continuous, non-invasive observation of individuals in their home environments.
The system integrates IoT sensors, TinyML, and privacy-preserving technologies to detect assistance needs, monitor daily activities, and track vital signs without disrupting everyday life.
Project funding:
European Partnership “Transforming Health and Care Systems”
Project results:
The developed smart system will be tested in 4 countries in two phases:
In a nursing home (Lithuania, Addere Care) – 10 older adults, monitored for 4 months.
In private homes – 30 people, monitored for 2 months: Lithuania (15), Estonia (5), Latvia (5), Poland (5). In Lithuania, at least two households will include two older adults living together.
Period of project implementation: 2026-04-08 - 2029-03-31
