Project Objective and Description
The objective of the project is to develop and certify a device designed to be attached to milking equipment that stimulates the udder of dairy cattle using low-frequency mechanical vibrations during milking.
The technology functions as a non-invasive system for the prevention and treatment of mastitis, supporting the animal’s natural response to inflammation.
The project addresses the significant economic losses associated with mastitis in dairy farming and the frequent use of antibiotics by providing an environmentally friendly alternative that contributes to improved animal welfare.
The project partner, MB “Adu Mechatroniniai sprendimai,” will organize the production and commercialization of the developed equipment.
