The building of Kaunas University of Technology – educational corps, which is an object of cultural heritage and its status – a monument (uk 1150) is not fully adapted to cultural, educational, social needs. The attractiveness and accessibility of the cultural monument is not ensured to the public because the building has lost its authentic appearance. Poor visual condition of the building (untreated facades, plinth, roof elements, unchanged windows and doors, untreated stairs), exposition of unattractive design, exposition are not adapted for different age groups and foreign visitors.
The building will carry out museum and educational activities after it will be renovated within this project.
It is expected that the project will reveal the valuable features of the cultural heritage object, the object will be adapted to the above mentioned activities, and it is expected to attract visitors of various social groups: schoolchildren, families with children, seniors.

Project results:
It is planned to replace and renovate the windows and doors of the building, to repair and renovate the stairs, the facade and the floor and to adapt it to the needs of the society – to install information tables telling the history of the building, set up an interactive stand, make it possible to explore this modern monument of architecture individually and to arrange excursions. It is planned that the building will be included to Kaunas tourism routes and city guided tour programs.
