Annotation:

The research results presented in the thesis are significant in development of sustainable construction technologies, more specifically in the technology of ecological concrete and the utilization of production by-products in the concrete production. In the production portlandcement – concrete’s main binding agent great amount of CO2 is emitted, also it requires high energy consumption. Possibility to replace portlandcement with geopolymer binder, produced from industrial waste, is analysed in this dissertation.
In this work geopolymer binder is produced from local industrial waste: biomass bottom ash, AlF3 production waste – silicagel, sulphur slime. Compounds occurring in the reaction and the ratios of the compounds participating in the processes of geopolymerisation were determined.
Also, geopolymer concrete was produced with coal fly ash. In the research the mechanical properties, structure and durability were investigated.
