Annotation:
The aim of the Doctoral Dissertation is to examine the influence of metal impurities on the amorphous carbon films that are formed and then irradiated by the coherent light.
In this work, the formation of carbon films on substrates with low temperatures (less than 250 °C) has been analysed. Radio frequency activated plasma chemical vapour deposition was used to deposit films. Films with silver, copper, gold, and platinum impurities have been analysed there. The impurities have been inserted in the film by bombarding the metal net with argon ions.
The influence of gold impurities on a-C:H films properties have been studied in this work. Films have been deposited by radio frequency activated plasma chemical vapour deposition on silicon and silicon with SiO2 interlayer. The influence of nanosecond laser irradiation on a-C:H(Au)/Si, a-C:H(Au)/SiO2/Si films and picosecond laser irradiation using the first, second and third harmonics (1064 nm, 532 nm, 355 nm) change DLC film properties, which have been studied there as well.
