‘Progress of modern science and technology provides managers with a very large range of innovation opportunities, which do not necessarily benefit customers and society in the long term, and do not take into account the impact and potential threat on society’, says Xavier Pavie who will be reading an open seminar at KTU School of Economics and Business.
At a time when the limits on human progress are ever-decreasing and the consequences of human actions have never been so critical to predict and manage, the responsible nature of innovations has acquired a whole new importance. Companies now need to find the appropriate balance between achieving positive growth and performance while integrating the concept of responsible innovation at the very core of innovation strategies and processes.
