OTHERWISE explores design as a dynamic and critical element in shaping the present toward alternative futures. It challenges the assumption that design merely “provides solutions,” emphasizing instead its deeper role: to question, to imagine otherwise, and to critically assess the consequences of every choice – including the choice not to design.

The exhibition unfolds around a central provocation: What happens when design is absent, poorly executed, or unconscious? Are there OTHER solutions? Are they WISE enough?

Through a selection of design and research projects, student work, scenarios, and artifacts, we invite you to explore the realities shaped by design – and to imagine what emerges when design is ignored, misused, or left unexamined. The exhibition reveals that design is always present – OTHERWISE.
